Last Day of Winter: Stowe, Vermont

Image
The gondola here at Stowe, with a winter wonderland behind. Well I certainly can't complain about this winter, here in Stowe, Vermont. For all the skiers and snowboarders, it has been a winter consistent snow and below freezing temps that have opened up just about every trail and glade that you can do on the mountain. From an Owl to a Drone's View, here in Stowe

Image
I finally got a photo of the barred owl that swoops through our woods. They are one of my favorite animals to photograph. A drone's-eye view, looking deep into Smugglers Notch, above Stowe, Vermont. Looking strait down at the Stowe Tree House. I found that the best drone shot was actually not from too high. We've had lots of snow this winter, and more is on the way. A view of the playground in our backyard. This is Stowe Ski Resort, on the slopes of Vermont's highest peak, Mount Mansfield. The chickadees look so fluffy and full in their winter plumage.
