Soaking up the Savannah Life with my 3 Littles

This is how I think of Savannah. This part of the US is buffered and protected from the ocean conditions by these tranquil salt marshes. It also provides deep water access to get out to beaches and fishing spots. There is something very charming about the spanish moss hanging from the live oak trees here. Savannah, Georgia is a destination worth experiencing. And for me, it is also where I grew up. So every year, I try to take my family down to experience some of the low country charm. I feel like this time, we just about did it all...even though I know we only scraped the surface.

Sunrise in Savannah

Low Clouds and Sunrise over the Bluff Isle of Hope Frame Whenever I get back to Savannah I always try to take in a sunrise over the marsh from Bluff Drive on Isle of Hope. It happened again this trip. The iconic bluff drive on Isle of Hope

I am pretty sure all but one of my breakfasts included grits and I had some classic Southern breakfast charm at the Waffle House and Cracker Barrel. And since a road trip to Atlanta was in the plans I had to grab a yellow dog and varsity orange at the Varsity. Some things never change...while at the same time new developments, homes, and other buildings catch my eye each time I come ...
