The Cape of Good Hope

The most southwestern tip of the African continent is both beautiful and incredibly windy. The wind was blowing 60knots when Heidi and I trekked here and slowed down to a mild 50 when I brought my mom back a few days later. You can tell just how windy it is by looking at our hair in the pictures.
Windsurfers and birds take advantage of the constant wind and aquamarine waves crash onto the rocky shores. A few herds of wild animals like the bontebok and cape mountain zebra can be seen against the brilliant water sparkling in the sun. It is a wild landscape that mom just couldn't help but exploring. With all the new fauna and flora around who could blame her.
This marks the end of one trip and the beginning of another.
